Roofman - 8 songs from the bathroom - 12"
Release Date: March 22, 2024
8 songs recorded in Clouds Hill’s bathroom, directly to tape, no messing around.
After finishing the recordings of Roofman’s debut record “Still The Mess I Was” and its eponymous song back in 2021, the Dutchman fell in love with the acoustics of Clouds Hill’s bathroom on the fourth floor. Aiming for that particular sonic experience once more, Roofman has teamed up with Kate Curly and Valentin Hebel to capture his next record in that exact bathroom.
Produced by Johann Scheerer (Pete Doherty, At The Drive-In), the mood Roofman created within the finely tiled bathroom at Clouds Hill studios is wonderfully captured in the moment and a joy to listen to.
The only thing that’s random about this record: Its colour. As the pressing comes in coloured recycled vinyl, there has been no ability to exert any influence on the colour scheme. Every single copy of the limited vinyl is unique – stamped and numbered by the hands of the artist himself.
Recorded to tape.
Exclusive mono mix.
Pressed on coloured recycled vinyl.
Limited to 200 copies.
