From the center of buzzing Santiago, an academically trained jazz trio meets two local hip hop figures, a scene that at the time was in gravitational ascent. Together they create a rupture in the local music industry, combining modal jazz with existential urban poetry and scratching at its finest.

Their raw and emotional manifesto Como Asesinar a Felipes, the band’s self-titling debut record released in 2008, immediately became a work of worship in Chile and began its journey through several other Latin American countries.

From then on the collective began to serve as a laboratory of experimentation and at the same time as a group of enthusiastic individuals eager to find a sound, which at this point seemed like it would never be found; and this is not a derogatory note, but the impetus that keeps CAF's spirit alive, an ether made up of equal parts of stubbornness, nonconformity, talent and magic.
